Orban linked to Premier League new-comers Burnley
Nigerian striker Gift Orban has been linked with a summer transfer to English Premier League new-comers Burnley.
This is according to reports by RMC Sport journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who claims the KAA Gent forward is monitored by Burnley manager Vincent Kompany .
After a goal-laden few months in Belgium with KAA Gent, Gift Orban is heavily tipped for a move this summer.
French Ligue One side Lille OSC are front runners in the race for Orban who will fancy a move to the Premier League and last week made comments on his favourite destination.
In his tweet, Tavolieri said Georgian International Georges Mikautadze, who was named Player of the Season in the Ligue 2 after an outstanding season at Metz will be subject of another bid from Burnley who have also asked about Orban who has scored 21-times for Gent.
After leading the Clarets back to the English top-flight as champions of the 2022/2023 English Championship season, Vincent Kompany is looking to improve his options in readiness for the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign.
As expected, Burnley will be linked to a lot of players in their bid to boost the squad that took 101 points from 46 games in the just concluded season.
