Samuel Chukwueze AC Milan debut date revealed
Date for Samuel Chukwueze to make his debut for Italian Serie A club AC Milan has been revealed days after he joined the club from Villarreal.
This is according to multiple reports in Italy saying the Nigerian winger who has been training on his on at the Millanelo will have his debut on August 8.
That will be in a Silvio Berlusconi Cup final match against Monza. Chukwueze will have an opportunity to get his hands on his first silverware for the Stephan Pioli tutored AC Milan.
His inability to join the AC Milan team in Pre-season due to bureaucratic restrictions means he is yet to meet with his new manager Stephan Pioli and teammates.
That meeting will happen this week in the build-up to his debut on August 8. AC Milan boss Stephan Pioli will want to see his new attacking option in action in Milan colours for the first time.
Despite not meeting the Super Eagle, Pioli described him as a complete winger, one he hopes will run down opposition defenders on the right wing as the Rosonerri pursue success in the 2023/2024 season.
How well Samuel Chukwueze performs in the Silvio Berlusconi Cup final vs Monza may be key to the managers choice whether to put him straight in the starting XI when AC Milan’s Serie A campaign kicks off on August 21 with an away fixture against Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
