Yusuf celebrated after hitting 100-caps for Antwerp

Belgian club Royal Antwerp Football Club celebrated a significant milestone reached by their Nigerian midfield maestro, Alhassan Yusuf, who has now made 100 appearances.

Yusuf achieved this feat during a Belgian league draw against KAA Gent, where his performance once again showcased his talent and importance to the team.

In the match that ended 2-2, Yusuf’s contributions were instrumental, underlining his integral role in the squad. The 23-year-old Nigerian international has been a key player for Royal Antwerp, consistently delivering stellar performances on the field.

Royal Antwerp took to their official social media handle to honor Yusuf’s achievement, recognizing his remarkable journey with the club.

They posted, “Centurion RAFC appearances for Alhassan Yusuf!”, celebrating his milestone moment with the Reds.

Yusuf’s path to his 100th appearance has been marked by growth and consistency since joining Royal Antwerp from Swedish club IFK Goteborg in 2021. His performance against KAA Gent further solidified his status as a valuable asset for the team.

Moreover, Yusuf boasts an impressive record of achievements with Royal Antwerp, including winning the Belgian Pro League and Belgian Cup last season.

His success extends to the international stage, after he was part of Nigeria’s silver medal squad at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
