Ademola Lookman contributes to all the goals as Atalanta beat Monza to go atop of Serie A log

Ademola Lookmon contributed to all the goals scored by Atalanta as they secured an important away win against Monza at U-Power Stadium on Monday.

The former Everton attacker who has been in fine form contributed to both goals as Atalanta beat Monza 2-0 to go to the summit of the Italian Serie A.

All the goals were scored in the second half and Ademola Lookman was the man behind both goals – he teed up Rasmus Højlund in the 57th minute for the first goal.

A great ball inside from Ademola Lookman found Rasmus Højlund who arrived on the ball before everyone.

The Super Eagles attacker thought he had his second Serie A goal when he forced in a ball from a cross, but his 65th-minute strike was awarded to Marlon as an own goal.

Atalanta now sit top of the log with 13 points from five games, closely followed by Victor Osimhen’s Napoli with 11
