Alex Iwobi reveals plans for new PL season

Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed his excitement for the upcoming 2024/2025 English Premier League season.

The skillful Nigerian international, who joined Fulham from Everton FC last summer, has firmly established himself in the team.

Speaking to Standard News, Iwobi acknowledged last season’s inconsistencies but is optimistic about a stronger performance in the coming season.

“I can’t wait to get the new season kicked off again,” Iwobi said. “With Fulham, we had a bit of an inconsistent season, but we know how good we are. When we were talking at the end of the season, we were thinking, ‘We see the quality in the room; let’s try and push up the table.’ Everyone is ready to go.”

Fulham finished 13th in the Premier League last season.
