Amorim blasts Rashford’s camp amid transfer rumors

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has openly criticized the people surrounding Marcus Rashford, following the player’s recent comments about seeking a new challenge. Rashford, 27, has been excluded from the last three match-day squads, sparking a media frenzy.

In an interview with journalist Henry Winter, Rashford expressed his readiness for a fresh start. Amorim, however, believes that Rashford isn’t solely to blame for these comments. “These players have a lot of people around them, making choices that aren’t always their own ideas,” Amorim told Sky Sports.

Amorim emphasized his commitment to helping Rashford as a player but stressed the need to focus on performance and training. “I have to do what I have to do,” he added, indicating that the decision to go public with the interview wasn’t solely Rashford’s.

The situation has put Amorim in a difficult position, balancing the need to address the media while focusing on upcoming matches. Despite the controversy, Amorim remains hopeful about Rashford’s future at Old Trafford, acknowledging his talent and potential contribution to the team.
