Arsenal to beat Barcelona to Riyad Mahrez signing?

Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old has been a star player for the Foxes in their Premier League title bid having scored 14 goals and providing 10 assists.

Due to Mahrez’s form, numerous clubs, including Barcelona, have been linked with the winger and now it appears that Arsenal are interested.

According to ESPN, the Gunners are keeping a close eye on Mahrez and will make a move should the Frenchman decide to move elsewhere.

The winger, who joined Leicester from Le Havre in 2014, will come to the end of his contract in 2019.
