Atubolu, Martins, Aliu and other 28 eligible U21s available to play for Nigeria

Nigeria is rich with an abundance of talented footballers who are based in Nigeria and those who were born to Nigerian parents abroad.

Some of these players have been listed in many compilations of the best teenage players in the world, a few have the wonderkid tags.

In this article, SportsRation will list out a few players who are currently tagged wonderkid, a few of these players are already making names for themselves at their clubs.

Some are already regulars for top European clubs while others are waiting for their chance to impress.

The players on the list are U-21, have dual nationality, and are eligible to play for Nigeria due to their Nigerian father or mother.

31. Authur Okonkwo (Arsenal, goalkeeper, 18 years old)

Authur Okonkwo is currently Arsenal’s third-choice goalie. The academy graduate was recently listed on their matchday game against Wolves.

Zachariah Olumide Awe is also an Arsenal player from their academy. He was also listed for the Premier League game against Wolves.

29. Michael Olise (Cyrstal Palace, Midfielder- Winger, 20 years old)

Michael Akpovie Olise is known to all those who are keen followers of the English Premier League. The attacking midfielder made name for himself at Reading in the championship before moving to Cyrstal Palace.

The thing with Michael Olise is that he is eligible to play for four countries; England, France, Algeria and Nigeria.

28. Kevin Schade (Freiburg, Winger, 20 years Old)

Kevin Shade has a Nigerian father and a German mother. The winger has scored three goals in the Bundesliga for Freiburg this season.

27. Mujaid Sadick (Genk, Central Defender, 20 years old)

Mujaid Sadick Aliu was born in Spain to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother. He currently plays in the same team as Paul Onuachu and has scored a goal in 15 Belgian Pro-league game.

26. Jonas David (Hamburg, Central Defender, 21 years old)

Jonas Benjamin Chimezie David was born in Germany to a Nigerian father and a German mother. He currently plays for Hamburg in the German second division.

24. Antonio Nusa (Club Brugge, Forward, 16 years old)

Antonio Eromonsele Nordby Nusa was born in Norway to a Nigerian father and a Norwegian mother. He has played just one time for the Belgian champions in the league this season.

23. Xavier Amaechi (Bolton, winger, 21 years old)
Xavier Casmier Amaechi is a winger who currently plays on loan at Bolton Wanderers. He came from Arsenal’s academy but failed to make it to the main team and left for German club Hamburger SV in 2019.

22. Jordan Zirkzee (Bayer 04 Leverkusen U17, Attacking Midfielder, 16 years old)
Born in the Netherlands to a Nigerian father.

21. Tai Sodje (Manchester City, Center Forward, 18 years old)

Taione Richard Evumena Sodje is related to Sam and Efe Sodje who all represented the national team.

20. Kevin Martins (Inter Milan, Forward, 17 years old)

Kevin Maussi Martins is the son of Ex-Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins. He was born in Italy to a Nigerian father and a Ghanian mother.

He is a nephew to Mario Balotelli.

19. Jamie Lawrence (Bayern Munich II, Defender, 19 years old)
6 ft 7+1⁄2 inches tall defender was born in Germany to a Nigerian father.

Carney Chibueze Chukwuemeka is one name most Premier League fans will know very well. He has played in the English top-flight league 9 times against giants such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and United.

7. Miguel Azeez (Arsenal on loan at Portsmouth, midfielder, 19 years old)

Lesley Chimuanya Ugochukwu has scored a goal in 12 French Ligue 1 games for Stade Rennais this season.

5. Destiny Udogie (Udinese, on loan from Hellas Verona, defender, 19 years old)

Destiny Udogie is a left-back who has been linked with a move to Juventus. At 19, he has played 21 Serie A games this season.

4. Noni Madueke (PSV Eindhoven, Attacking Midfielder- Winger, 19 years old)

Chukwunonso “Noni” Tristan Madueke has been turning heads in Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven scoring goals in the Europa League and in the Eredivisie.

He is the younger brother of Michael Olise.

Some players are not mentioned in the list.

We are only advocating equal chances for everyone who is willing to represent the country so we can present the best legs at all competitions.

Franklin Nzeh , 17yrs, central back defender, Cambridge united is not on your list, u need to watch that guy play, aggressive, good on aerial ball and a no-nonsense defender
