Cameroon Defender Ndzana Confident Ahead of Super Falcons Clash

Cameroon defender Colette Ndzana says the Indomitable Lionesses are ready to face the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The match will be played tonight at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

It will be the 14th meeting between Nigeria and Cameroon at the WAFCON, with the Super Falcons dominating the fixture. Nigeria have won nine times in normal play and twice on penalties, while Cameroon have recorded just one victory. One match ended in a draw.

Nigeria also defeated Cameroon 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the 2022 WAFCON.

However, Ndzana believes Cameroon can end their difficult run against the defending champions.

“We want to break any existing barriers. We shall remain focused. We know that this is a quarter-final.

“We are going into it with a great deal of humility,” Ndzana said, according to CAF.
