Carlos Alcaraz to Miss Rome and Roland Garros
Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed he will not play at the upcoming events in Rome or Roland Garros.
In a statement shared on social media, Alcaraz explained the decision was made after medical tests, choosing caution as he continues his recovery.
“After the results of the tests carried out today, we have decided that the most prudent thing is to be cautious and not participate in Rome and Roland Garros, while we wait to assess the evolution to decide when we will return to the court.”
He also spoke about the situation personally.
“It’s a complicated moment for me, but I’m sure we’ll come out stronger from here.”
The decision means Alcaraz will miss two key clay-court tournaments, including one of the sport’s biggest events. His return date has not yet been confirmed, with the focus now on recovery and reassessment.
