Cavs snap losing streak, Harden scores 51 Rockets win over Embiid’s 76ers
The Cleveland Cavaliers ended their NBA losing streak as James Harden exploded for 51 points for the Houston Rockets.
The Cavs snapped a three-game streak with a 124-116 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.
Harden had a triple-double for the Rockets, including his huge points haul, as Houston beat the Philadelphia 76ers 123-118.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs’ run of wins was broken.
LEBRON LEADS CAVS
LeBron James ensured the Cavs returned to winning ways with his 31 points and 11 assists.
Kevin Love also had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 28 points.
Sean Kilpatrick top-scored for the Nets with 18 points off the bench.
HOT HARDEN
Harden was irresistible against the 76ers.
Along with his 51 points, he had 13 rebounds and 13 assists in a huge display, while Nene finished with 21 points.

Joel Embiid continued his good form with 32 points for Philadelphia.
SPURS’ STREAK ENDS
The Spurs’ five-game winning run was ended in a 119-103 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Kawhi Leonard (23 points) and LaMarcus Aldridge (14 points and 14 rebounds) led the Spurs, but Anthony Davis proved hard to stop.
Davis had a double-double of 16 points and 22 rebounds and got plenty of support from Jrue Holiday (23 points and 11 assists).

WIZARDS, CELTICS CRUISE
The Washington Wizards easily beat the Atlanta Hawks 112-86 and the Boston Celtics were untroubled in a 128-98 win over the Orlando Magic.
The Indiana Pacers needed overtime to edge the Sacramento Kings 115-111, the New York Knicks rallied past the Charlotte Hornets 110-107 and the Toronto Raptors crushed the Milwaukee Bucks 102-86.
The Miami Heat overcame the Chicago Bulls 100-88 and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 112-109.
CLIPPERS IN OAKLAND
The Los Angeles Clippers (30-17) get a chance to upset the Golden State Warriors, who are 39-7 this season and 20-3 at home.
