Chelsea sign N’Golo Kante from Leicester City for a fee of £32m
The France international played a pivotal role in the Foxes’ historic Premier League title-winning campaign last season, which in turn attracted a large number of admirers.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri tried to keep Kante at the King Power Stadium by offering the midfielder a new deal, but the 25-year-old’s head was turned by Chelsea.

The midfielder becomes Antonio Conte‘s second signing following the arrival of striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
“The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.
“My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player. I am looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates and helping the club achieve a lot of success.”
Kante, who played in all but one of Leicester’s league games last season, was named in the PFA Team of the Year.
