Chiamaka Nnadozie leaves Paris FC after five successful years
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has brought her time at Paris FC to an end after five memorable years. The French club confirmed her departure on Friday, following the end of her contract.
Nnadozie joined Paris FC in 2020 from Nigerian side Rivers Angels. Since then, she has become one of the club’s most important players, making 100 league appearances and keeping 44 clean sheets. She also achieved an impressive 74.4% save rate during her time in France.
The 24-year-old helped Paris FC reach the UEFA Women’s Champions League on three occasions and played a big role in their Coupe de France triumph. Her performances earned her top individual awards, including the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Season and UNFP’s Best Goalkeeper prize.
In a farewell message on social media, Paris FC thanked Nnadozie for her outstanding contribution and wished her well in the next stage of her career.
“Chiamaka immediately became an essential part of the team. She leaves after a magnificent victory in the Coupe de France, where she was one of the main stars. Paris FC warmly thanks Chiamaka for all these five years that will forever leave an imprint in the history of the club. We wish her all the best,” the club wrote.
Reports suggest Nnadozie could be heading to England for her next challenge. Wherever she goes, her impact at Paris FC will not be forgotten.
