Nigeria’s Super Eagles need just one point from their final two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers to confirm their place at the tournament in Morocco, scheduled for December 2025/January 2026.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the fixtures, match officials, and logistics for these decisive encounters, with the team poised to seal their qualification in Group D.

The Super Eagles will first travel to Abidjan for a critical encounter with the Benin Republic on Thursday, November 14th.

CAF has appointed Senegalese officials to oversee the game:

  • Fourth Official: El Hadji Amadou Sy

Ivorian Rene Williams Sere will act as the match commissioner, with Inacio Manuel Candido of Angola serving as the referee assessor.

Matchday 6: Home Fixture Against Rwanda

Nigeria will conclude their qualifying campaign at home against Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

CAF has appointed Moroccan officials for the match:

The Super Eagles are expected to lean on in-form forward Ademola Lookman, who continues to draw praise across the continent. After his recent appearance at the 2024 Ballon d’Or event, Lookman earned endorsements from African football legends, including Ghana’s Didier Drogba.

With their fate firmly in their hands, the Super Eagles are confident of sealing the point they need to book their place in Morocco and maintain their status as one of Africa’s elite teams.
