Cristiano Ronaldo signs £155m contract to join Al Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a deal worth £155m with Al Nassr.
The Portuguese superstar whose contract with Manchester United was ended by mutual contract in November and without a club after the 2022 World Cup ended has found a new home.
Cristiano Ronaldo put pen to paper to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal worth £62m a year, meaning, he would earn a total of £155m.
“History in the making,” Al Nassr tweeted.
“This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome @Cristiano to your new home @AlNassrFC.”
Cristiano Ronaldo will link up with Cameroon captain, Vincent Aboubakar, and David Ospina at Al Nassr.
Al Nassr have won Saudi Arabia’s top flight on nine occasions — a tally only bettered by Al Hilal, who have 18 titles to their name.
