Dessers in action, Balogun benched again as Rangers reached Champions League qualification playoff

Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers was in action while compatriot Leon Balogun was benched again as Rangers reached the UEFA Champions League qualification playoffs.

In Tuesday’s third qualifying round clash in Switzerland , Rangers held Servette to a 1-1 draw to progress 3-2 on aggregate having won the first leg 2-1.

Despite scoring in the first leg, former Cremonese striker Cyriel Dessers was named on the bench for the game vs Servette and was introduced in the 61st minute of the game.

A 1-1 second leg result was advantage Glasgow Rangers who have been paired to face Dutch club PSV in the playoff round.
