Anthony Nwakaeme, Joe Aribo and Simon Moses, Victor Osimhen, Cyriel Dessers on target were on target for their clubs as a handful of Nigerian players were involved on Friday and Saturday.

Victor Osimhen (Lille)

Red-hot Victor Osimhen chalked his 12th league goal of the season to help Lille secure a 2-0 win at Strasbourg on Friday.

Cyriel Dessers (Heracles Almelo)

About to be capped Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers banged both goals as Heracles beat Sittard 2-0 at the Erve Asito (Almelo) on Friday.

Cyriel Dessers who is now the highest goal scorer in the Eredivise with a total of 14 goals in 22 games.

Anthony Nwakaeme, John Obi Mikel (Trabzonpor)

Anthony Nwakaeme, scored his 7th goal of the season to help Trabzonpor go joint top in the Turkish Super Lig with Sivasspor.

Former Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel was also in action for the Turkish giants.

Joe Aribo (Rangers)

Nigerian International Joe Aribo was on target as his Scottish side Rangers beat Hamilton Academical 4-1 in the Scottish Cup.

He played the full 90 minutes.

Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal)

Samuel Chukwueze came on for Paco Alcacer in the 72nd minute as his Villarreal side were held to a 1-1 away at Real Valladolid.

Ola Aina (Torino)

Ola Aina played 75 minutes for Torino as they lost 3-1at home to Sampdoria.

Aina gave away possession which resulted in the free kick that led to Sampdorias equalizer. He was substituted 5 minutes later for Christian Ansaldi.

Kenneth Omeruo (Leganes)

Kenneth Omeruo played 75 minutes before he was taken off due to injury as his Leganes side were beaten 2-0 by Levante, his fellow Nigerian Chidozie Awaziem was suspended for the fixture.

Simon Moses (Nantes)

Simon Moses was on target again as Nantes played a 3-3 draw against Dijon.

He has scored in three straight games for Nantes.
