Everything you need to know about PH Hockey Masters Series 1

The stage is set for Portharcourt Hockey Masters Series 1 and here are few piece of information that you need to know.

According to a release issued by The National Coordinator Nigeria Hockey Masters, Dr Walter Imoedemhe.

1. Arrival Friday 26th at MASS Central Hotel, Eastern By Pass Road, PH.
2. Teams are expected to register and play in Club names ( i.e, Alaghodaro Masters Bendel Masters , Delta Masters, South West Masters, South South Masters, Hocsport Masters, Perekuye Masters, The Dolphines, Manbila Masters, Arena Babes etc).
3. Departure for Staduim (The Liberation Staduim, Elekaiah, Port Harcourt, Rivers State) from Hotel at 8.30 am. Briefing/ games start at 9am
4. Return to Hotel at 5.30pm. Interactive/Pool side Party starts 7pm
5. Interactive Session will address proposed Constitution, Objectives, Affiliation with relevant Organs, Membership Registration, Dues , Elections, programmes, etc.
6. Rules of Play

(a) Half field, full goal post. 9 players ( 5 players and 1 fully dressed goalkeeper on pitch at a time).

(b) Total Mix of 5 (50+) and 4(45+) . Maximum 2 (45+) on pitch at a time.

(c) All rules within the D applies but NO hitting. Only push, flicks or scoops)

(d) Two halves of 10mins and 3mins interval break. This maybe adjusted as the elders will decide.
