Fabio Capello eyes FIFA presidency
Fabio Capello claims he has “already turned down 10 offers” and is open to running for FIFA Presidency.
The former Juventus, Roma, England and Russia manager is a free agent and has been repeatedly linked to benches including a return to the Giallorossi.
“It has to be a project that stimulates me. I’ve already turned down at least 10 offers,” Capello told Radio Deejay.
“For now, in Italy too, I don’t see a project that interests me. Could I run for FIFA President? I’ve never thought about that, but it would certainly be interesting.”
The veteran Coach was asked about the current Serie A status of his old clubs.
“Max Allegri’s Juventus proved themselves to be solid and professional. They are on the right track, the old guard have the situation back in hand.
“As for Roma, a Coach mustn’t let himself be conquered by what is around the club. I don’t like to talk badly of colleagues, but a Coach must know the environment he’s working in.”
