Flamingos land in Goa ahead #U17WWC semifinal clash against Columbia

Nigeria Women’s U-17 team, Flamingos have landed in Goa where they will face Columbia Women’s U-17 team in the semifinal of the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup.

Flamingos defeated the US U-17 team in the quarterfinal to book a place in the semis, Columbia on their part trashed 10-player Tanzania to advance to the semis.

And Flamingos have now landed in Goa the venue of the semi-final games as they prepare for their clash against Columbia.

“Our Flamingos safely landed in Goa today ahead of the semi-final tie on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

“They will aim to continue their fairytale run in the tournament against Colombia at Fatorda Stadium by 12 pm.”

This is the third time Nigeria U17 and Columbia U-17 Women’s teams will be playing against each other.

Nigeria won the last two encounters, 3-0, 2-1 in 2012, and 2014.
