Moses Simon delivers classic performance for Nantes in Ligue 1

Former Flying Eagles striker Isaac Success continued with his quiet development in Serie A with a brilliant performance for Udinese in their 2-2 draw away to Bologna.

The 26-year-old Isaac Success moved to Udinese in the summer from Watford following his struggles in England’s Championship. The striker was on song for I Bianconeri in their Matchday 33 clash.

Scottish youngster Aaron Hickey opened the scoring for Bologna before Isaac Success set up Nigerian-born youngster Destiny Udogie to draw Udinese level. Success then added his name to the scoresheet immediately the second half resumed before Nicola Sansone scored an equaliser for Bologna as both sides shared the spoils.

Isaac Success has now scored two goals and contributed seven assists for Udinese in 20 Serie A appearances this season.

In France, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon continued to impress as he contributed a goal and assist for FC Nantes in their crushing 5-3 win over Girondins de Bordeaux.

The 26-year-old was brilliant for his side in the Ligue 1 clash. Bordeaux raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half through goals from M’Baye Niang and Javairo Dilrosun. Kalifa Coulibaly pulled one back for Nantes before Ricardo Mangas scored an own goal to level the game.

Former Nantes man Enock Kwateng scored to restore the lead for Bordeaux before Simon set up Coulibaly for yet another equaliser. Moses Simon scored to give Nantes the lead for the first time before Osman Bukari scored late to seal the win.

Moses Simon has four goals and eight assists for Nantes, who lie in tenth place in Ligue 1.
