Former Super Eagles Coach Genot Rohr praises Cyriel Dessers quality after Rangers move
Former Super Eagles Head Coach Genot Rohr has praised the quality of his Glasgow Rangers new signing Cyriel Dessers .
During his time as Nigeria Coach, Rohr handed Cyriel Dessers his Super Eagles debut in an International Friendly vs Tunisia in 2020.
The former Cremonese striker has gone on to make three other appearances for Nigeria since , but Rohr is high in praise for 28-year old.
As quoted by Daily record, Genot Rohr said: “Cyriel Dessers is an all-round striker and a player who is perfect for the modern game.
“He is very mobile around the pitch and he’s very fast. He is strong and powerful in the air, comfortable on the ball and can score goals with both feet.
“He is a very disciplined player too. I think would have won more caps than he has, but there was a spell where he wasn’t playing and I couldn’t call him up,” the Benin Republic gaffer said.
On Thursday July 6, Scottish side Glasgow Rangers announced the signing of Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers from Italian club Cremonese, a return to European Football it will be for the 2021/2022 Europa Conference League top-scorer.
