Four Nigerians included in nominees for 2020 Golden Boy award

Four players of Nigerian-descent have been included in the 100-player shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy award.

Although, the players are not currently playing for Nigeria, they are eligible to play for Nigeria in future should they change their national allegiances.

Arsenal’s youngster and one of the most sort after players in Europe, Bukayo Saka tops this list of Nigerian born players included in the list.

Chelsea’s Tino Anjorin, Southampton striker who is already doing big things in the Premier Leagus, Michael Obafemi and Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi the last on the list.

The other top players who gave been included in the list are Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.

Bayern’s Alphonse Davies, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, and Vinicius Jr. Barcelona’s Ansu Fati.

Chelsea’s Bill Gilmour and Callum Hudson-Odoi and Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood.
