Games to start on Saturday as we await Gombe State
The games involving the men at the 2018 NSF will start on Saturday as Federation awaits the arrival and/or the confirmation of withdrawal of one of the participating states.
Few participating teams were not present at the technical meeting held today, while some were said to be on their way, others were said to have withdrawn.
As at the time of the technical meeting held today all the states that are expected were present and others said to be on their way but Gombe State were reportedly said to have pulled out.
The teams present were drawn in groups as follow; Plateau State, Abia State and Kadanu State in Group A while FCT, Delta and Oyo were drawn in Group B.
Gombe State who were rumoured to have pulled out were seeded in number 7 which automatically puts the team in Group B if they arrive tomorrow.
Regardless of the Gombe situation, the winners and runners-up from each group will advance into the semifinals where the gold, silver and bronze winners will emerge.
