Giannis Antetokounmpo traded to Miami Heat

In one of the biggest trades in recent NBA history, the Bucks have agreed to send the two-time MVP to the Miami Heat in a deal that will reshape the future of both franchises.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Miami will send Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round picks, a pick swap and a second-round selection to Milwaukee as part of the package.

The move brings an end to a remarkable chapter for the Bucks, where Antetokounmpo developed from a raw teenager into one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Antetokounmpo leaves Milwaukee after spending his entire NBA career with the Bucks, helping deliver the franchise’s first championship in 50 years.

The Heat were not the only team pushing for a deal.

Charania reported that the Boston Celtics aggressively pursued Antetokounmpo and were willing to discuss a package centered around Jaylen Brown and draft picks. However, Miami emerged as Milwaukee’s preferred trade partner.
