An inspired Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 120-107 for a remarkable eighth win in nine attempts this season in the NBA.
Jordan Poole led the scoring for the Warriors with 25 points and five assists. Steph Curry chipped in with 20 points for the Golden State Warriors as they condemned the Houston Rockets to a ninth defeat of the season.
Kevin Durant returned to face the Toronto Raptors at home for the first time since rupturing his Achilles while facing them last year. Durant scored 31 points as the Nets won 116-103 to record their joint best-ever start to a season with seven wins from ten matches.
Washington Wizards defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 101-94 to match the record of the Brooklyn Nets with their seventh win of the season. Bradley Beal led the scoring with 30 points, and Kyle Kuzma contributed a 15-point and 10-rebound double-double.

Utah Jazz were handed their third loss of the season after Orlando Magic defeated them 107-100 for their third win this season in the NBA. Cole Anthony and Wendell Carter Jr put up a combined 55 points for the Magic in the game.
Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the New York Knicks 126-109 to improve their record for the NBA season to 7-4. Veteran Ricky Rubio led the scoring with 37 points and 10 assists. Cavs’ rookie Evan Mobley contributed 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
A valiant team effort saw Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the San Antonio 99-94. Mike Muscala led the scoring with 20 points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 14 points, and Luguentz Dort and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl contributing 13 apiece.
Los Angeles Clippers picked up a 120-106 win over the Charlotte Hornets for their fifth NBA win this season. Paul George recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and Reggie Jackson contributed 18 points for the Clippers.
