Hawks Crush Hornets 128-81 as Dyson Daniels Shines with Seven Steals

The Atlanta Hawks continued their strong start to the NBA season with a commanding 128-81 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, improving their record to 2-0 with an impressive all-around performance.

Atlanta controlled the contest and overwhelmed Charlotte on both ends of the floor, turning the game into a one-sided affair. The Hawks’ defensive intensity and offensive efficiency proved too much for the Hornets to handle.

Dyson Daniels was among Atlanta’s standout performers, recording 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists and seven steals. His defensive activity disrupted Charlotte’s offence and helped the Hawks maintain control throughout the game.

Jalen Johnson also delivered an all-around contribution, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 14 points and two steals, while Kingston Flemings contributed eight assists to Atlanta’s offensive effort.

The 47-point victory underlined the Hawks’ early-season form and highlighted the depth of their contributions across the roster. Charlotte, meanwhile, will need a stronger response after struggling to compete with Atlanta’s pace and defensive pressure.
