NPFL Title Winning Goalie Joins Ibom Youth Fc alongside 18 others

Nigerian National League side Ibom Youth Fc have Unveiled 19 new players ahead of the 2021/2022 season. Amongst the new players is Goalkeeper David Essien a member of Akwa United’s NPFL title winning squad last season.

The Vastly experienced shot stopper makes a return to Ibom Youth Fc where he was one of the pillars of the clubs pioneer squad whilst in the Nationwide league. Also Unveiled by the Akwa Ibom based side is winger Nsikak Moses who also returns to the team after a year at NPFL Side Dakkada Fc.

The new players will replace some of last seasons stars who have moved to new teams like Ime Ndon (Israel), Adewale Lasisi (Dakkada Fc) , Edidiong Ezekiel (Dakkada Fc) ,Erikan Dominic (Dakkada Fc) , Izuchukwu Micheal ( MFM) Chinedu Ibeh (Bayelsa United) and a host of others.

Ibom Youth Fc will be guests to Abeokuta stormers on Matchday one of the 2021/2022 NNL season. The match will take place on Sunday 13th February 2022 by 4pm at the M.K.O Stadium Abeokuta, Ogun state Nigeria.
