Kano Pillars team Involved in road accident

The Kano Pillars U19 youth team was involved in a road accident while travelling to the New Jos Stadium for their Matchday 5 game against Plateau United U19 in the U-19 Youth League.

In a statement, Kano Pillars said:
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the Kano Pillars FC U-19 team bus was involved in a road accident earlier today on the way to honour their fixture against Plateau United U-19.

“Several players and the driver were injured in the unfortunate incident and have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Thankfully, no deaths have been reported, and the medical team is monitoring the situation closely.”

The club and fans are hoping for the quick recovery of all those injured.
