Even in death, Kobe Bryant’s legacy lives on as his $6 million investment in BodyArmor is now worth around $400 million after the company’s sale to Coca Cola for $8 billion.
Bryant bought stock worth $6 million in 2014, making him a part owner of the company with a 10% stake. The company was sold to Coca Cola on November 1st 2021, for a price of $8 billion, with a 6500% increase in the initial investment of the Los Angeles Lakers legend, who was named among the 75 best players to ever grace the NBA on the 75th anniversary of the competition.
The surviving family of Kobe Bryant will now receive a $400 million return on his initial investment after dilution of the stocks. His wife Vanessa and daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri would receive the money after his passing on January 26th 2020 alongside his daughter Gianna.
