Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu takes selfie with basketball star LeBron James in Paris

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was seen taking a selfie with famous basketball player LeBron James in Paris, SportsRation reports.
The moment has gone viral on social media, showing the governor smiling as he takes out his phone to snap a photo with the NBA legend.
Sanwo-Olu and James met at a special event in Monaco for the E1 Series — the world’s first electric powerboat racing competition. LeBron James is part-owner of a team in the series.
During the event, Sanwo-Olu announced that the next edition of the E1 Series will be held in Lagos on the 4th and 5th of October, 2025.
This meeting happened during LeBron’s off-season, as there are rumours he might leave the Los Angeles Lakers.
Sanwo-Olu, who has been governor since 2019, is known for building strong international relationships. While in Monaco, he also met with Chelsea football legend Didier Drogba.
Drogba called Sanwo-Olu and Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote his “brothers” and promised to bring the E Series to Lagos.
