Tobi Amusan equalled her Season Best (SB) time at the Lausanne Diamond League as she finished in second place in the 100m Hurdles event.
Amusan, who started the season off the pace, began to get up to speed at the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica with a win, before placing third at the Ostrava Golden Spike Meet in Czech Republic behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Tia Jones.
The Nigerian hurdler lined up against a strong field as she looked to win yet another Diamond League event, but she fell just short after a neck-and-neck duel with Olympic champion Camacho-Quinn.
Amusan finished in 12.47s, equalling her SB set in Ostrava days ago, while Camacho-Quinn won the race in 12.40s. Jones finished third with a time of 12.51s in the event.
Tobi Amusan will return to action on Sunday in the Stockholm Diamond League as she continues to prepare for her world title defence in Budapest.
