LeBron James makes winning return for Los Angeles Lakers

Warriors, Suns continue leading Western Conference as Nets win

LeBron James delivered a brilliant performance for the Los Angeles Lakers on his return to the team following his one-game suspension after his altercation with Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart.

LeBron James contributed 39 points with five rebounds and six assists for the Los Angeles Lakers as they emerged 124-116 winners against the Indiana Pacers to improve to 10-10 in the NBA this season.

Phoenix Suns continued their winning streak with a 120-115 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was the Suns’ 14th consecutive win in the NBA this season. Devin Booker recorded 35 points and Chris Paul contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Charlotte Hornets defeated the Orlando Magic 106-99 to improve to 12-8 for the season. Terry Rozier led the scoring with 27 points, three rebounds and five assists for the Hornets, and LaMelo Ball recorded 22 points.

Brooklyn Nets defeated the Boston Celtics 123-104 in their NBA clash. Patty Mills led the scoring for the Nets with 21 points, and James Harden recorded a double-double of 20 points and 11 assists.

New Orleans Pelicans picked up a rare win against the Washington Wizards, winning 127-102 to improve to 4-16. Brandon Ingram led the scoring with 26 points for the Pelicans, and Jonas Valanciunas recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Houston Rockets picked up only their second win of the season with a 118-113 defeat of the Chicago Bulls. Danuel House led the scoring with 18 points and Christian Wood recorded a double-double of 16 points and ten rebounds.

Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Miami Heat 113-101. Anthony Edwards finished with a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds for the Timberwolves and Malik Beasley contributed 29 points.

Utah Jazz defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-104. Jordan Clarkson led the scoring for the Jazz with 20 points, and Rudy Gobert contributed a double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds.

Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons 114-93. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the scoring with 33 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Bucks. Bobby Portis contributed 28 points and ten rebounds for the Bucks.

Toronto Raptors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 126-113. Gary Trent Jr led the scoring with 26 points and Fred VanVleet recorded 23 points for the Raptors. The trio of Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa and Scottie Barnes recorded 17 points, each.

Atlanta Hawks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 124-106 in their game. Trae Young contributed 31 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists for the Hawks in the game.

Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 116-96 to maintain their place atop the Western Conference standings. Steph Curry contributed 25 points and ten rebounds for the Warriors, and Seth Curry finished with 24 points for the Sixers.

Sacramento Kings defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 125-121. Buddy Hield led the scoring with 22 points and DeAaron Fox scored 21 points as Davion Mitchell recorded 16 points.
