Manchester United icon Antonio Valencia sends message to Odion Ighalo after picking jersey no 25

Former Manchester United captain, Antonio Valencia has sent a message to his clubs latest signing Odion Jude Ighalo.

Odion Jude Ighalo joined Manchester United on the last day of January transfer window from his Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua for the rest of the season.

It was confirmed yesterday that Odion Ighalo will don jersey number 25 the same number Antonio Valencia wore whilst at Manchester United.

The former Wigan winger was quick to wish Odion Jude Ighalo all the best as he explained the number inspired him to make good success during his time at Old Trafford.

“I always saw the number 25 as an opportunity to work beyond my dreams.

“It has been my inspiration and became my amulet. I wish you all the success now with this shirt brother.”

Odion Jude Ighalo could be in action when United travel to London to face Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge in their next fixture.
