Marc-Andre ter Stegen: Why I didn’t celebrate Messi’s goal after De Gea’s error

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has revealed why he failed to celebrate his teammates goal against Manchester United in their 3-0 champions league win at Nou camp on Wednesday.

Lionel Messi scored a brilliant goal to put Barcelona in front and completed his brace with a gift of a goal. Manchester United goalie David De Gea made a terrible mistake to allow Lionel Messi’s second goal.

Former Liverpool attacker Phillipe Coutinho completed the 3-0 rout to confirm Barcelona place in the last four against Liverpool.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen celebrated the other goals but the second goal and he explained why.

“I didn’t celebrate that much the second goal, to be honest. He’s my colleague, and this can happen to everyone. I told him after the game that we are all humans, this could happen to me as well,” said Marc-Andre ter Stegen to Cadena COPE.
