Mason Mount becomes 11th Chelsea academy graduate to win Men’s Player of the Year

Mason Mount has been announced as the winner of Chelsea Men’s Player of the Year of the year 2021.

The English midfielder who played in his first professional game for Chelsea last year under Frank Lampard is developing into a world beater’

The 22-year-old was voted ahead of other contestants like Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy etc to claim the club’s most coveted award.

Mason Mount who is Chelsea’s Joint top-scorer this season is also the player with most chances created, most big chance created, most touches, most passes into opposition half, Second-most tackles and Joint-second most assists.

By becoming the 2021 winner, Mount is now the 11th Chelsea academy graduate to win Men’s Player of the Year.
