Mbappe leads Real Madrid to a big 3-0 win at San Mames

Real Madrid picked up an important 3-0 win over Athletic Club at San Mames. The team came into the match looking to end their short winless run, and they did it in strong fashion. Mbappe scored early after a long pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold. The goal came in the seventh minute and settled Madrid right away.

Before the break, Camavinga made it 2-0 with a calm finish inside the box. Madrid stayed in control for most of the match. In the second half, Mbappe struck again with a shot from distance that beat the keeper and wrapped up the game.

The win moves Madrid to 36 points, one behind Barcelona in the league table. Late in the match, both Alexander-Arnold and Camavinga went off with injuries, which took some shine off the night. Even so, manager Xabi Alonso said he was happy with how complete the performance was.
