Michael Jordan says Steph Curry ‘not a Hall of Famer yet’
Michael Jordan’s legendary competitiveness still shines through from time to time.
His Airness said on NBC’s “TODAY” that if he was to pick a squad to play with, he’d stick with players from his own era like Hakeem Olajuwon, Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, and James Worthy. It wouldn’t include contemporary stars like Stephen Curry.
“He’s still a great player,” Jordan said of Curry. “Not a Hall of Famer yet, though. He’s not.”
Jordan is technically correct; Curry isn’t yet a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. However, the Golden State Warriors star is currently at a 99.9% probability to one day be enshrined in Springfield, according to Basketball Reference.
