NBA Round Up: Westbrook records 29th triple-double of the season, Spurs and Celtics cruise
Russell Westbrook had yet another triple-double in the NBA, while Kawhi Leonard led the San Antonio Spurs to victory.
Westbrook recorded his 29th triple-double of the season to see the Oklahoma City Thunder past the New Orleans Pelicans 118-110 on Sunday.
Leonard continued his good season for the Spurs, who extended their winning streak to four.
Meanwhile, Isaiah Thomas was the Boston Celtics’ hero once more.
THE WESTBROOK SHOW
Westbrook stepped up once more for the Thunder, although he did contribute another nine turnovers.
However, his 41 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists led the Thunder past the Pelicans.
Anthony Davis (38 points) and recruit DeMarcus Cousins (31 points and 10 rebounds) were the Pelicans’ standouts.
SUPER SPURS
The Spurs did it easily, brushing past the Los Angeles Lakers 119-98.
Leonard had 25 points and got plenty of support from LaMarcus Aldridge (16 points) and Pau Gasol (15).
TREMENDOUS THOMAS
Thomas’ 33 points helped the Celtics claim a 104-98 win against the Detroit Pistons.
Jae Crowder (14 points and 11 rebounds) had a double-double, while the Pistons had five players in double digits for points.

GIANNIS STARS
Giannis Antetokounmpo (28 points, eight rebounds and six assists) saw the Milwaukee Bucks edge the Phoenix Suns 100-96.
The Memphis Grizzlies powered past the Denver Nuggets 105-98, the Utah Jazz beat the Washington Wizards 102-92 and the Toronto Raptors had a 112-106 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Los Angeles Clippers overcame the Charlotte Hornets 124-121 after overtime.
WARRIORS IN PHILADELPHIA
The Golden State Warriors (49-9) will be expected to bring up their 50th win when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers (22-36) on Monday.
