Nigerian Midfielder, Sampson Nyada joins Gulf United in the UAE

United Arab Emirates’ FA division two table toppers, Gulf United has grabbed the services of Nigerian midfielder Sampson Nyada from United FC.

The dynamic midfielder joins Gulf United from another UAE second division side United FC.

In a chat with SportsRation, head scout of Gulf United Football Club of Dubai, Marcello Anyanwu, described it as a BIG DEAL one which will help the club achieve it’s target this season.

‘Sampson is a THE BIG DEAL and having him in our squad will consolidate and guarantee our quest to clinch the league and secure promotion comfortably,” Anyanwu said.

“He is the best player in UAE division two,”

“Sampson is a disciplined player known for his relentless energy and excellent ball – winning abilities as a box – to- box midfielder in the center of the pitch. ” he concluded.

The 25-year old is gifted with special tackling skill that helps him stop opposition attacks and regain possession.

Additionally, he is also capable of playmaking with long passing range from inside his own half to effectively set-up counter attacks.

Prior to this move, Sampson played 729 minutes In the league this season for United FC, his eye catching performances attracting interest from the league leaders.

“We have reached an agreement with United FC and the player [Sampson], ” Gulf United head scout Anyanwu confirmed.

” The Nigerian midfielder will make his  debut this night when Gulf United confront UAE Arabia league club side, Al Jazira in a pre-season second round game”, says Marcello Anyanwu.

The UAEFA division two league leaders are managed by former Newcastle United defender Stephen Taylor.
