Nigerians Abroad: Ndidi, Kayode on target as Emenike, Simon & Ogu crash with their clubs
While Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi and Olarewaju Kayode scored for their clubs, Emmanuel Emenike, John Ogu, Simon Moses crashed with their clubs in Thursdays Europa league matches played across Europe yesterday.
Kayode Olanrewaju – Austrian Wien
Roma were running away with a comfortable victory before former Nigeria U-23 star Kayode Olanrewaju stepped up to save the day, the Nigerian assisted his clubs first and scored the equalizer in their 3-3 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Wilfred Ndidi – Genk
Nigerian International Wilfred Ndidi scored a screamer as his club ran away with a 2-0 victory over Athletic Club in Thursday Europa League match at the Luminus Arena.
Emmanuel Emenike – Fernabache
Emmanuel Emenike’s Fernabache knew they needed more than luck to beat Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United and on the night and luck was not on their side as they suffered a 4-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
