5. Terem Moffi (Lorient 1-4 Lyon)

Terem Moffi couldn’t stop his side from an embarrassing 4-1 home lose to rampant Lyon in a French Ligue 1 game on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker scored his 4th league goal of the season in the heavy defeat at the Stade du Moustoir. The strike ended his four-game goal drought.

In 26 Ligue games, Terem Moffi has contributed four goals and three assists.

4. Rasheedat Ajibade (Atletico Madrid Women 4-1 Granadilla Tenerife Women)

Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored her 10th league goal of the season in Atletico Madrid Women’s 4-1 win against Granadilla Tenerife Women.

The game that was supposed to be a battle between two teams chasing the 3rd spot on the La Liga Femini table, ended up a one-sided game as Atletico ran out a 4-1 winner.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored her side third goal of the game. She has contributed 10 goals in 18 league game this season.

3. Cyriel Dessers (Feyenoord 1-1 FC Groningen)

Forgotten Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers came from the bench to score the equalizer for Feyenoord in their 1-1 home draw with FC Groningen.

Cyriel Dessers is the second player ever to score five goals for Feyenoord after coming on as a sub in a single Eredivisie season, after József Kiprich in 1992/93.

2. Anthony Nwakaeme

Another league game another goal for Anthony Nwakaeme.

Anthony Nwakaeme continued his top form by scoring his 10th league goal in Trabzonspor 1-1 draw at Fenerbahce in a Turkish top-flight game on Sunday.

With the goal, Anthony Nwakaeme’s goal contribution has increased to 19, 10 goals, and 9 assists in 22 league games.

1. Maduka Okoye (Vitesse Arnhem 0-1 Sparta Rotterdam)

Maduka Okoye was our star player from the past week.

He saved a penalty, made 6 saves, and chased out a pitch invader to ensure his Sparta Rotterdam kept their 1-0 lead until the game was suspended due to crowd troubles in the 90th minute.
