Nigeria’s Kennedy Nzechukwu knocks out Lukasz Brzeski in first round at UFC 310

Nigerian fighter Kennedy Nzechukwu had a stunning performance at UFC 310 in Las Vegas, defeating Lukasz Brzeski with a first-round TKO as he continues his move up to the heavyweight division.

Nzechukwu, who has now won both of his heavyweight fights, finished Brzeski with less than ten seconds remaining in the first round. This marks his second consecutive first-round knockout.

Throughout the round, Nzechukwu used his strength to pressure Brzeski, finally landing a powerful right hand after drawing his attention with a stiff left punch. Brzeski was knocked down and Nzechukwu quickly finished him off with strikes on the ground.

This victory follows Nzechukwu’s win over Chris Barnett in October, where he also secured a first-round TKO.

Nzechukwu stepped in to replace Tallison Teixeira, who was forced to withdraw from the fight due to injury, and delivered a dominant performance.

For Brzeski, this marks his second straight loss by knockout, leaving his UFC record at 1-5.
