“No One Can Stop Him”: Omeruo Hails Osimhen’s Unstoppable Power
Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has praised Victor Osimhen as an unstoppable force, saying no defender in Turkey could handle the striker during his brilliant loan spell at Galatasaray.
Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, with clubs from Saudi Arabia, Italy, Turkey, and England all linked to the Nigerian star. Despite the interest from Al-Hilal, Juventus, and Galatasaray, Osimhen is reportedly still dreaming of a move to the English Premier League, where Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool have been mentioned—though none have made a formal move yet.
But while the transfer saga continues, Omeruo is certain of one thing: Osimhen is on another level.
“He is a great player for Türkiye,” Omeruo told GsGazete.
“He has a very good character and makes a serious difference.
Do you know his strengths? Agility, quickness, speed. Osimhen has all of these.
There is not a single defender in Türkiye who can stop him. His first and second steps are very quick. His acceleration is very fast.”
The 26-year-old forward had a sensational season at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists, helping the club win both the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.
Osimhen is still under contract with Napoli, who expect him to return for pre-season medicals around July 14 or 15, unless a transfer deal is completed before then.
Galatasaray remain hopeful of bringing him back, while Al-Hilal reportedly came close to signing him—but Osimhen turned down a move to Saudi Arabia, for now.
Wherever he ends up next, one thing is clear: Victor Osimhen is one of the most feared strikers in world football, and according to Omeruo, virtually unstoppable.
