Nigeria International striker Odion Jude Ighalo is close to a £20million move to a Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai the according to reports.
Ighalo who has scored 40 goals for Watford in 100 appearances shunned a move to several Premier League clubs who indicated interest in signing him for Chinese moneybags.
The Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri confirmed that the Nigeria international is closer to a move away from England as he has offers from clubs in China who are willing to pay whatever it will cost.
“With Odion Ighalo we know there are some offers.
“Ighalo was always a very important player for this team, but there are times where a player can end its time with one club and make a decision on their career.
“These are decisions that are from the club, and from the players, and there is not much we can do about it,” Mazzarri said.
Odion Ighalo who has found scoring goals a rare thing for sometimes now, has just one Premier League goal in comparison to last year when he bagged an impressive 17.
He was also linked with Hebei Fortune before Changchun Yatai made their offer.
