OH Leuven signs former Nigeria’s Flying Eagles star Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi
Belgian Jupiler Pro League side OH Leuven has signed Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi from Italian Serie A club Salernitana on a three-year deal. The club’s Chief Executive Officer, Federic Van Dee Steen, revealed the reasons behind the acquisition in a statement.
Van Dee Steen expressed confidence in Ikwuemesi’s abilities and highlighted his potential and youthful energy as key factors in the decision. “Ikwuemesi is a young player with enormous potential and room for growth. His profile gives us a lot of options in the offensive line,” he said.
The CEO also emphasized Ikwuemesi’s enthusiasm and desire to join OH Leuven, which he believes will translate into better performances on the pitch. “We are very happy with his arrival, but the most important thing is that the player was very hungry to come to OH Leuven.
