Doma United FC goalkeeper, Osayi Kingdom has hailed team-spirit after taking his 9th clean-sheet in the 1-0 NPFL win over Niger Tornadoes FC on Saturday, December 3, 2023.

In-form Nelson Abiam scored the winning goal for Doma vs Tornadoes to reclaim top-spot in the NPFL standings after eleven matches this season.
In an exclusive chat with SPORTSRATION, Osayi Kingdom who has now gone seven games without conceding a goal in the Nigeria Premier Football League to sum nine clean-sheets in eleven games, said it was more of team effort than personal effort.
He said ” I’m happy for what we’ve achieved as a team so far this season.
“It’s not about me being the reason why we [Doma United] are on the top of the [NPFL] log but as a team we all have contributed to this achievement.”
Osayi Kingdom is in his second season with Doma United FC of Gombe.
Last season, the shot-stopper was fantastic as then newly-promoted Doma United nearly secured a spot in the NPFL Super Six playoffs.
Next-up for the Savannah Tigers is a road trip to Ilorin to face Kwara United FC.
For his superlative performance this term, Osayi Kingdom ranks alongside Bendel Insurance shot-stopper, Amas Obasogie as the best goalkeepers in the Nigerian league with Enyimba FC skipper Ojo Olurunleke the other name on the exclusive list.
The other two have already received Super Eagles of Nigeria call-ups with Osayi Kingdom certain to get on the international roster as he continues to shine in goal for the Savannah Tigers.
