Oshoala scores brace in Barcelona’s big win to take season’s tally to 11
Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala scored twice as Barcelona Women beat Rayo Vallecano Women Spain Primera Division Women game on Wednesday.
The reigning African Women footballer ended her short run of two-game goalless run to score her 10th and 11th league goal of the season.
Asisat Oshoala scored Barcelona’s third and the fifth goal in the 19th and 59th minutes to help the reigning Spain Primera Division Women champions to a 7-0 home win.
For her first goal, Oshoala reacted the quickest to the ball spilled by Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper. She scored her second goal with a fine header.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool forward was also involved in the build up to Barcelona’s 2nd, 4th and 7th goals.
So far this season, she has scored a total of 11 goals in 12 games only Levante’s Esther Gonzalez Rodriguez 14 has more goals than her.
