Osimhen Celebrates Birth of Second Child with Goal in Galatasaray’s 4-0 Victory
Victor Osimhen celebrated the arrival of his second child by scoring as Galatasaray recorded a convincing 4-0 away win over Konyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig on Friday.
The Super Eagles striker opened the scoring in the 12th minute, taking his league goal tally to nine this season.
The goal came just a day after Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Ladewig, welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
Galatasaray announced the good news on Thursday through a social media post, congratulating the couple and wishing their newborn daughter a long, healthy and happy life.
The couple already have a daughter, Hailey, who was born in October 2022.
Osimhen went into Friday’s match in excellent form after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s victory over city rivals Fenerbahce on Monday.
His early goal against Konyaspor gave the visitors a strong start before Yunus Akgün doubled their advantage in the 28th minute.
Aleksey Batrakov made it 3-0 in the 49th minute, while Rafael Leão completed the 4-0 victory from the penalty spot in the 55th minute.
The victory further boosted Galatasaray’s campaign as Osimhen continued his impressive scoring form.
