Plateau United head coach Mbwas Mangut has expressed confidence in his team’s newly acquired players, stating that they will meet expectations as the season progresses.

After a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars on Matchday 2 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Mangut spoke about the 12 new players added to the squad during the off-season to strengthen the team.

Mangut told Plateau United’s media team, “The new players we brought in are of good qualities. They have only played two games and need time to blend together. Individually, they can match the players who left the club at the end of last season.”

He reassured fans that the best of the team will be seen soon, adding, “I can assure you, in three to four games, the full potential of this team will come to light.”
